JASON HO
Jason is the driving force behind Quadro Media & Design.
Originally from Taiwan, Jason came to Canada to pursue his dream as a digital artist and as an entrepreneur, and Quadro Media is his first business and part of his young entrepreneur’s adventure.
With a BFA Degree in Theatre Design & Production from University of British Columbia and a diploma in 3D Animation & Visual Effects from Vancouver Film School, Jason has worked in different fields including animation, motion graphics, and theatre sound and lighting design.
Jason is currently attending the Masters of Digital Media Program in Vancouver at the Centre for Digital Media, where he will be receiving professional guidance from New Media BC, and many award-winning instructors.
RODRIGO MASCARENO
Rodrigo Mascareno was born in 1976 in México City.
He completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Communication at The National School of the Arts in Mexico, graduating with honors in 1999.
Rodrigo’s background includes experience as a concept artist, motion graphic artist and graphic designer.
He has received awards for 3 of his short films, and has worked on TV commercials and broadcast projects for clients such as Nissan, General Motors, Mattel and Picot, and in co-production with famous advertising and production companies such as DDB, MCCANN, LOW, CATATONIA, SMARTDESIGN GROUP and MICROSOFT. His experience with video games includes a title for Xbox LIVE® Arcade.
SUMEET VATS
Born and raised in Ontario, Sumeet first fell in love with computer graphics when he first saw the Pixar short “Luxo Jr.” From there, his love waivered to wanting to be in the comic book industry. His studies ended up leading him to graphic design for a few years, when his love of 3D brought him back towards the game industry. Graduating from Seneca College of Applied arts and Technology with a Diploma in Digital Media Arts, Sumeet applied his craft towards breaking into the game industry. But then, after competing in a 24 hour film festival, the movie bug hit him. Not being content with only knowing the post production side, Sumeet moved to Vancouver and graduated with an Honors diploma in Film Production from Vancouver Film School.
PERRY JACK (SKY)
Perry Jack prefers to be called Sky. His specialty resides in graphic and motion design, and he recently graduated from Turtle Island’s Entrepreneur Development program,Vancouver Film School’s Digital Design program, Media Arts, Print Technology and a New Media Studies program.
As a youth, he started off with mural painting which he transformed into mural art, completing projects for community centre programs. This skill continues to support his creative design experience.
SOREN JOHNSTONE
Born in Vancouver, B.C., Soren began writing as a child and as a youth he taught himself the techniques of filmmaking, editing and directing.
Soren made his first independent snowboard/skateboard video at 15 years of age. By the age of 25, he had completed eight full-length snow/skate videos, several short films, commercials and over 30 promotional videos for athletes and artists, while also receiving airtime on YTV, Fox, Global and recognition in various film festivals. This year, Soren plans on releasing 2 feature length films, ‘Hicks on Sticks’ and ‘Play with Fire’ that he has spent the last 4 years working on.
